Do I need a visa for Vietnam?
Indians need an e-Visa (valid for 30 days, single entry). Vietnam now requires digital arrival registration via the “Vietnam eTravel Card” app before boarding.
Is Vietnam safe for families and solo travelers?
Yes, Vietnam is safe overall. Just be cautious with traffic (especially in Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City) and avoid unlicensed taxis.
How do I travel within Vietnam?
Domestic flights connect major cities cheaply. Trains are scenic (Hanoi–Da Nang route is popular). Buses and Grab app are common for local travel. Scooters are popular but traffic can be chaotic.
Is food expensive in Vietnam?
Not at all. Street food meals cost ₹150–₹300. Restaurants range ₹600–₹1,500 per person. Must-try: Pho (noodle soup), Banh Mi (sandwich), Spring Rolls, Egg Coffee.
